Fear of failure

Tomorrow can feel like a test that has not yet been graded — work, family, calling, a door that might not open. Fear of failure often wears the clothes of planning, yet the heart stays troubled about the future.

Jesus told His disciples not to take anxious thought for the morrow. He left them His peace — not as the world gives. He came to set people free so they can walk with Him today, instead of living under the weight of what might go wrong.

“Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”

Matthew 6:34 · KJV

“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

John 14:27 · KJV
